I’ve been doing alot of it. Havent really been finishing anything due to confusion or boredom. I started some socks for mi madre. Her birthday is saturday. Simple stockinette socks.. slip stitch heel, grafted toe. which im calling “Blood in The Grass./Winos in the Park” Theyre green and burgundy. Theyre doing this like barber pole swirly thing. i like it. Ive been furiously knitting them for two days and im almost at the toesies!! I should be done with them completely by the time i come back from Brooklyn.. mayybe.
Ive been looking for a shawl to knit my gramma mama-ning. its between the clapotis.. or muir. i think the clap.

I bought some fiber from whimzy pinzy! four .oz of merino. really baby soft springy colors and 1.6 oz alpaca!
ok.. yeah i got a knitting injury last night. i impaled myself with a size two double pointed needle. well let me not make it even more dramatic than it was. i was knitting on the monkey sock (now known to me as the devil killer socks.) and i put them down to do something, i stick the spare needle into the ball of yarn so that its sticking straight up so i can put the sock on it. BIG MISTAKE. I got up from my bed to get a pen or something and i stumbled and i step directly on the sticky out needle. it goes like half an inch in.

it didnt bleed as much as i thought it would. im hobbeling all over the place. &i can still feel it dangeling from my foot. soon i will try to upload photos and whatnot from brooklyn but its mainly concert photos. oh how i am obsessed with los campesinos.
i’ve been kind of mia lately. not much knitting. lots of drama. i cant wait for this movie to come out. that song playing is “sprout and the bean” by joanna newsom. one of my favorite songs. i love her creepy voice.
sunday night, my little brother is on the computer.. not this one but the proper one. i keep ALL off my music on it. he downloads random crap games to it.. anyway, hes on it, doing what he does.. then he hears a pop the thing shuts down and it hasnt turned back on.
about 5000 plus music files, random knitting patterns, photos and what not.. gone.
oh &something knitting related: ive been knitting on quant. super easy but i think i saved the pattern to my ipod wrong. ugh..
im going to knit on that insanely boring hp scarf and watch big love now. and probably cry cause all of my music is lost.
so.. i really like muxtape.com. i may do like a weekly playlist thing. i dont even know if anyone reads this but it gives me something to do. i went to knitting group on tuesday. third street ravelers!! i thought i was being safe by bringing my grey and yellow scarf but the conversation kept me from even paying attenetion to something as simple as that.. and i knitted more rows of the colors that i wanted to. oh well, i still like it. i started quant.. well i did the icord. a normal person wouldve used needles that go with the yarn accordingly.. but i didnt and i used twos cause those were the only dpns i had and im going to knit the thing on size six.
im seriously counting down till the nyc weekend. shes going to try and get tickets to the nkotb performance. squee! theres going to be so many fun adventures. super excited.
its pretty safe to say that the jaywalkers hate me, and i hate them. i found a fourth needle in my house to use (even though it was a size smaller) and somehow its still not working. ive frogged these things and restarted at least seven times. plfft.
I’m completely procrastinating. I wanted to take apart apart the desk in my room.. but as you can see im not really doing that right now. Damn you “rock the cradle” olivia newton john’s daughter has GIANT lips. seriously.
i’m prepping my room and walls to paint. but it may take forever. my room is extremly messy. i want to have it painted and almosy done by may. i still have to take down wallpaper. plfft.
