I havent really been knitting. I finished Calorimetry v.3. The only thing i have left to knit is the one I’m making for Katie.. its basically collecting dust. I’m refusing to finish it cause its soooo boring. I don’t know, i just don’t really feel like knitting. i get bored really easily with what in knit. i swear i have ADD or something. My pop is supposed to buy me enough yarn for Matilda jane and the clapotis. (yes, ive succumbed to knitting peer pressure) It was supposed to be a christmas gift but yeah christmas turned to the second of january then turned into next week. so who knows when i’ll be starting these projects.
I’ve decided to use shine sport for Matilda jane, in grass as the main color and butter as the contrasting. I hope the isn’t too shiny.. or feel like its been dipped in oil. i dont know why but that what i think of when i hear “shiny yarn”
for clapotis, im going to use gossamer, double stranded . i have no idea what color i want to use. so far ive settled on trail. my mind may change tomorrow.
i need to really get started on my room redesign. my space isnt really conducive to creativity. maybe its why i don’t want to knit. ITS SUCKING THE CRAFT OUT OF ME! i have to create some sort of like organizational thing for my yarn and needles. and whatnot. I’m always in fear of my cats getting to it so it needs to be in a bin high up. i think im going to chronical these events on this journal. should be fun.
so much has been going on that i forgot to send holiday cards to people. i feel so terrible so i’m going to buy some different ones and send them out with maybe a mix cd and some candy.
ive been trying to tackle my 101 list. im making some progress. now amber needs me to watch the baby on tuesday.. so i can go to knitting group ):
i REALLY want to cast on snow white . number 12 on my 101 list is to knit five ysolda patterns. she’s so lovely and her designs are so amazing. yes i have a giant knitters crush on her.
i think i see a jordana paige bag in my future.
