Things to accomplish in 2008

• Knit at least three garments (not including matilda jane)
• Knit at least ten pairs of socks (which is very doable)
• Apply to model for No Fauxxx*
• Try not to get caught up in too much drama
• visit at least three different states
• and Canada
• get license
• spin more
• go to more shows
• start school
• read at least thirty books

*no fauxxx is an “adult site”, just a warning, so yea

I’m an idiot. I didnt realize that matilda jane was with dk weight. Thank god i didnt buy the yarn yet. But I really love that color.Its not available in the swish dk. so im going to do it hollyberry and pale lemon.

I have no yarn.

The insanity. Ashley got me Matilda Jane for my birthday but I cant knit it til it’s in stock at knit picks. I really want to use Swish Superwash in Truffle.  I want to also knit Muir. I want to knit more lace and try my hand at fair isle. I’m going to use the endpaper mitts chart an use it to make an ipod cozy. It’s good to start off small.

Alot is going to happen next year. I applied to school again. This time Im going for

Information Science. It’s not something I thought I would do but in the long run it will be

good. I really am not good with math. I don’t really like it much….. at all. In the long run, I want to get into library science. I’m going to also be redoing my room. The drama. The part that I’m going to hate is the cleaning and decluttering. I dont know how I accumulated so much crap into such a small space.

Seriously my room is the size of a jail cell.

So on Saturday i cast-on and finished Calorimetry .. instead of trying to pronounce it and embarrass myself, Ive been calling “head thing” all weekend. i used the extra ball of shoreline twist i had. there is a minor mistake, i wasn’t

paying attention so i knit when i should have purled. soo yeah. i got ashley to cast on the same project.. i wonder how she’s doing with that

i’ve been a crappy blogger.  but a little better with the knitting. ive been knitting smaller projects.

• ribbed for her pleasure scarf for me with some lion brand jiffy that i acquired at knitting group
• ravenclaw mitts with wool of the andes “shoreline twist” for my brother

• mitts for katie with pattons tweed in the cranberry-ish colorway (i can display this here cause i know she doesnt read the blog.)

im still drooling over the matilda jane hopefully i can get the yarn for it this week. ysolda has the most lovely patterns so i cant wait to try and knit this up. my first cardi. squee.

my proper computer has no internet.. so im borrowing some from neighbors. i cant upload photos cause my laptop has no port for me to insert the memory card. and the cord is mising. ugh the drama

ive watched saw about… six times this weekend. well i watched all three friday. and the rest of the time i watched one. its the best one. i dont have the desire to see four. other than trying to see them come back from the third when the main people are dead.

i have a giant crush on leigh whannell .. and carey elwes

also.. my birthday is in nine days. but i will be working. plfft.
